Who We Are
The Ghanaian Outlook is built on a simple idea: good journalism should make people think.
We cover politics, governance, business, education, technology, culture, lifestyle, sports, international affairs and the everyday issues affecting Ghanaians. But we are interested in more than headlines.
We ask the questions behind the stories. We examine competing perspectives. We provide context. And where possible, we look beyond today’s controversy to the bigger issues affecting our collective future.
Our Mission
Our mission is to deliver credible, independent and thought-provoking journalism that informs the public, encourages intelligent conversation and contributes positively to Ghanaian and African society.
We seek to make serious journalism accessible without making it shallow, engaging without becoming sensational, and critical without abandoning fairness.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build The Ghanaian Outlook into a trusted Ghanaian media platform with a strong African identity and a global outlook.
We want to become a destination for readers and viewers seeking not only breaking news, but also understanding, analysis, ideas and meaningful conversation.
What We Stand For
Credibility
We strive for accuracy, fairness, verification and responsible journalism.
Independent Thinking
We ask difficult questions and examine issues beyond political, social or ideological labels.
Context
A headline tells you what happened. Journalism should help you understand why.
Diverse Perspectives
Healthy societies require room for disagreement, debate and different points of view.
People-Centred Journalism
Behind policies, politics and statistics are people whose experiences deserve to be heard.
African Perspectives
Ghana and Africa should not merely be subjects of global conversations. Africans must also help shape those conversations.
More Than a News Website
The Ghanaian Outlook is being developed as a multimedia news, ideas and conversation platform.
Alongside news reporting, analysis, opinion and investigative journalism, we produce original programmes that allow important subjects to be explored beyond the limitations of traditional news reporting.
The Ghanaian Outlook is the official news and editorial platform of Richarm TV. The network's flagship programmes are Afro Matters with JKD, Mama Kasa, Sankofa Heritage, Scoreline Africa and Aunty's Playhouse, extending our journalism into ideas, society, culture, sport and children's learning.
Through articles, interviews, video, commentary and original programming, we want audiences to do more than consume information. We want them to question, understand, discuss and think.
Our Commitment
The Ghanaian Outlook is committed to building a journalism platform worthy of the trust of its audience.
We will pursue accuracy over speed, substance over sensationalism, conversation over division, and curiosity over assumption.
We will ask questions—even uncomfortable ones. We will explore different perspectives. And we will continue creating journalism that encourages people to look beyond the obvious.
Because sometimes the most important role of journalism is not simply to provide the answer. It is to make us ask better questions.
